The two-storey Yes Optus flagship store holds a prominent position in Brisbane’s Queen Street Mall. The task was to deliver a hardware and software solution that would take customer interaction next level.


SOLUTION: Our partnership with the communications giant supported the delivery of uniquely augmented and mixed reality experiences throughout the store.

Outside, the LED façade stimulates customer engagement and elevates and anchors the store as a landmark in the urban landscape. Inside, the curved LED wall detects the shopper when they pause in front of a handset and serves relevant content to personalise their experience. Also inside, LED stair treads offer aesthetic benefits as well as a powerful platform for marketing. While a state-of-the-art gaming centre facilitates the demonstration of fast and smooth gaming technology and allows eSports-team training and streaming.

RESULTS: The advanced technology solution ensures absolute control of content, allows multiple video sources to be integrated for flexible distribution, the wireless sharing of devices to any LED, and even multiple instances of sharing across the curved wall. In addition, the content management system allows seamless remote content management and the synchronised rollout of new campaigns across stores. While audio in store is separated into six sources plus two home zones.
